Today we learned the letter K!
We also practiced our new math game called Roll and Build up to 12! In this game your child rolls two dice. They add the numbers on the dice together and find the numeral to match the sum on the mat. Then… they use unifix cubes to build the number!!! In this game we practice recognizing quantities, counting, recognizing number to 12, and one to one correspondence in counting… and its fun to build with the unifix cubes as well as take turns playing a game with a friend!

We also worked in our color teams to add pictures of things we need onto our color team’s house! We used magazines to cut out pictures of clothing, healthy food, and a place to live… we didn’t see any pictures of water. 🙂
