Hello Families!
Thank you to all of you who volunteered at your party, our trunk or treat, and/or gave candy! Since I have been a teacher, this has been my favorite Halloween at school! We had such a super duper fun day!
We started our say with a Halloween/Fall concert performed by the 4th graders! This was awesome! Oakman Elementary is blessed to have such a talented and devoted music teacher! Thank you, Ms. Essian!
After we had our party! We painted pumpkins! We decorated pumpkin cookies! We played Alphabet Stew, and Spider Math Spin!
After lunch, Officer Mockbil visited us to talk about Halloween Trick or Treating safety.
In gym class, we got a surprise visit from a Ninja Turtle! (Mr. Abu-Rus) 🙂
Then… we went to Oakman Elementary’s first Trunk or Treat! Wow!!! This was awesome! The kids loved it and go so many goodies!
Then… we went to Oakman’s pumpkin patch!!! We picked out our very own pumpkin!
At the end of the day, Mrs. McMahon came and read us “Room on the Broom” by Julia Donaldson! She had us all smiling with the many voices she used as she read this adorable story!
Please enjoy these pictures of our very Happy Halloween!
Thanks for all you do!
Mrs. Mehrhof

Only a super amazing principal would dress up as a Ninja Turtle to put a smile on his students’ faces! Thank you Mr. Abu-Rus!

We worked the little muscles in our hands as we picked up little chocolate chips to decorate our pumpkin cookies like a jack-o-lantern!
