What we did today 9/11

Hello families!

Today your child is bringing home our weekly newsletter. Please see me if you have any questions in regards to it.

Please note that Open House will be 6:00-7:30 on Thursday, September 14th. I look forward to seeing the whole family at this event.

Today we read a book called “Bear’s Busy Family”. We talked about the different people we have in our families. We also did a writing piece about what we like. The children worked on drawing what they like and orally dictated using the sentence stem; “I like…..”

We also practiced tracing the letters in our names. This work will also be coming home as homework this week in the reading bags.

Please remember to send in a family picture as well as a healthy snack for your child.

If your child wants to attend breakfast, they are more than welcome to at 8:15 in the cafeteria. This is a free service.

Thank you for all you do! We had an awesome first full day! I am sure your little angels are super tired! 🙂
