We have been having lots of fun learning about non-standard measurement! We have been using cubes to measure objects in our classroom.

We have also been learning about comparing and contrasting two informational texts on the same topic. This week we have been reading about trees! Tomorrow we will read informational texts about needs of plants.

We took the math NWEA test on Tuesday. If you would like to see your child’s score, please see me. We are testing for reading NWEA on Tuesday!!! This is such an important test, please encourage your child to review and prepare for this test. I will be testing students on their reading levels this week and next as well… 🙂

Last…I wanted to say….we are loving this gorgeous weather! We have been enjoying the playground at recess! Today I noticed a group of children created their very own game! I love the imagination and cooperation I witnessed! It is so precious to see how close this group of children have become to each other. I hope they all remain friends for many years to come!
