Hello Kindergarten Families!
Happy 17th week of Kindergarten! Happy New Year! I hope 2017 is full lots of love and laughter.
I hope each one of you enjoyed the weeks off of school! I missed my amazing students’ smiles and laughter so very much! I am looking forward to hearing about all of the fun things they did over the break. I am so blessed to have such awesome little students!
This month the students will be tested for reading levels as well as re-tested in math and reading on the NWEA. Your child’s report cards will also be available by the end of the month. So……with that said, please be sure your child is completing the January homework assignments on the calendar as well as visiting MobyMax. Prizes are going to be rewarded to the student who has the most minutes/badges on MobyMax. Please be sure visiting this site is part of your child’s daily homework routine. Thank you!
Winter is certainly here and it is cold! Please remember if you send your child to school with winter boots, they need to bring gym shoes to school to change into. Please help your child know how to put their shoes on independently. We have a shoe tying wall of fame for all of the Kindergarten students who can tie their shoes!!!
I hope that each one of our students is able to login and access Clever for awesome learning opportunities with MobyMax and MyON. Please see me if you have questions about Clever.
Homework: Be sure to complete the daily homework assignments on the January calendar.January homework calendar If this was misplaced, you can find it on your teacher’s blog.
