Special Olympics
The mission of Special Olympics Michigan is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Athletes develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy while participating in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship among their families, Special Olympics athletes and the community. The athletes achieve their dreams with the support of caring volunteers, coaches, family members and staff.

Trunk or Treat-Sponsored by Howe PTA
A Halloween celebration for the whole family! Wear your Halloween costumes and come prepared to play some games, win some prizes, and enjoy some hot cider and treats!
We need at least 15 families to decorate their trunks! Most creative decor wins a prize! Candy will be provided to pass out to our Trunk or Treaters!
Friday October 28th, 2016 at 6pm-7:30pm (set up @5:30pm)
Upper Elementary Parking Lot (in the very back)
COST: $3.00 per child

All are welcome to the Fire Department Open House! It will be October 8, 2016 from 12-2pm.
Field Trip this School Year!!
We have received the approval for our class field trip to the Detroit Zoo. We will be going on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Just wanted to give you a heads up! MARK YOUR CALENDAR! This trip will cost $6 for each student/parent. We will like to invite you on this trip too! I will send home a permission slip along with a chaperone form, if you interested! Hope you can join us! Look forward to our day out! Thank you!!
