Color Run

We will be having our first annual Color Run at Howe School on April 27, 2016.  We will be doing this to promote the importance of fitness to the kids and show them how fun running can be.  The students will be running through a course down at Hines Park just west of Outer Dr.  The event will begin around 3:00pm.  We will start walking down around 2:45pm.

During the run, adults will be throwing non-toxic colored powder on the students as they reach certain checkpoints.  Students will be given a pair of glasses to protect their eyes from direct contact.  The color washes out of most clothes, but not all clothes, dress accordingly.  For more information on the powder visit colorblaze5k.com.

On this day, students will need to be picked up from Hines Park’s Helm’s Haven (Just west of Outer Dr.) picnic area at the normal time.  Students will not be allowed back in the building after event. Of course, we will encourage you to come early and enjoy the fun!

If parents want to participate the fee for them will also be $5.  Please be sure to fill in the blank on permission slip below.

I will send home the permission slips today, if you would like your child to participate.  Thank you!
