Good morning! Don’t forget if you go do a meal pick up today at McCollough Unis school they will be giving food for 5 days or more. It may be a lot to carry. Also, this is at 10:00. I sent out information yesterday.
Letter of the Week
This weeks letter is P or p. P says puh like puddle, pencil and plum. Here is another song about P.

Math
Today we are going outside. Go for a walk and collect some small rocks. When you get home put them all out on the porch and put them in graduated order from smallest to biggest. Here is a sample picture…
Work Time
Turn off those screens and play with some toys, color, paint… anything you can think of!
Planning Time (5 minutes): Build your child’s ability to organize their time by having them make a “plan” with you about what they would like to play with. Children do this everyday with us at school. It helps children learn to organize their thoughts. Adults make plans all the time to organize their thoughts (shopping lists are made before going to the grocery store, to do lists are made to help plan your day etc..).
Work Time (45-60 minutes): During work time kids play WITHOUT ELECTRONICS. Kids can use toys to pretend play, build, and create.
Clean Up (about 15 minutes): Kids clean up the mess they have made while playing.
Recall Time (5 minutes): Build your child’s memory of events by having your child tell you what they did while they played (ask “tell me how you did that” or “what did you do next?”)
Story Time
Today we are going to re-read Owen BUT we are going to listen to it in Spanish instead. This is the third time you are hearing it so see if you can still follow along. It is very interesting to hear a familiar story in another language. Listen for some words that may be similar to the English word.
Okay now we are going to listen to one more story. Pinkalicious is a story character that starts with the letter…P! In this story she also has a friend named Peteriffic. In their story they are going to pretend to be something that starts with a P. See if you find out what it is. Click on the link below.
Movement/Outside
