November 11

Today you continued your work on leads and how to use one to start a short story.  You also took notes and learned about author’s purpose and the three reasons that an author writes.  Tomorrow you will use those notes to work on an activity to identify an author’s purpose after reading a short selection.

New Reading Logs were passed out and will be due next Monday and Vocabulary Trackers will be due this Friday.
