The most important thing that we ask from our families, faculty and staff is to strictly adhere to our policy on illness:
- Students must be fever-free (without the use of fever-reducing medications) for at least 24 hours
- 24 hours from last episode of vomiting and/or diarrhea
- Free of persistent coughing that interferes with daily activities
- To prevent the spread and recurrence of communicable diseases, students who are ill or absent from school for any period of time should report to the office first before directly going back to the classroom.
The custodial crew has taken extra efforts to:
- nightly wipe down all surfaces such as door knobs, light switches, and handles with a strong antibacterial solution
- soap dispensers are filled at all times and napkins refilled
Students are encourage to:
- Wash their hands with soap for 20 seconds prior to eating their lunch and snack.
- Cover their nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with tissue or bend of their elbow
- Avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth
- Avoid close contact with anyone who is sick
- Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces
