Today we worked on Least Common Multiple (LCM) in our SLOT books and through Cornell notes (there is a copy attached here).

We also worked on and completed page 1 of our ISN’s. If you did not finish coloring with a purpose, please do that tonight. Also, ISN covers are due TOMORROW!

For homework tonight: Color and cut out math talk bubbles (we will be using them tomorrow, so make sure they are ready to go!)

Happy Monday!

Today we started using our S.L.O.T  (Sustained Learning Over Time) booklets. We dated our boxes through Thursday. Friday, we will have a quiz on the SLOT work we have done this week. We also did some extra practice on Least Common Multiple (LCM) which can be found in the classwork section of the 1″ binder. To finish up number systems for today, we played a game with dice to practice finding multiples.

For our Interactive Student Notebooks today we talked about why they are useful and rules for making our ISN’s complete. We taped the grading rubric to the front cover, please note the rubric includes due dates for the whole year.

No homework tonight!

**Open House Wednesday 6-730pm–We look forward to meeting you!**

TGIF!

Today in math we completed our ISN set up. We added Words Worth Knowing (WWK) pages, our slot pockets, a space for plickers, and started our first activity-“Five Important Things About Math Class.” If you did not finish coloring with a purpose please do that this weekend.

We also took a Five Minute Frenzy multiplication quiz. We will be charting our progress throughout the year!

Have a great weekend 🙂
