Today we worked A LOT on divisibility rules. We reviewed for our quiz and gave some homework practice (see attached). Tomorrow is our divisibility rules quiz!
We also continued our work on area!
Today we worked on divisibility rules. We also finished pages 101 and 102 (attached below). Also, for homework there are factors trees and a divisibility practice (also attached below).
For our geometry unit we continued to work on composing, decomposing, and partition. We finished up our Cornell Notes and turned them in at the end of class.

Our topic in geometry today was area. We used the dice to play an area game. After the game, we used tangrams to decompose shapes.

Today we worked on LCM all day! We have our first quiz tomorrow! Students were told to bring home their SLOT books and their binders to use as study tools. Look in the classwork section for today’s practice. Did you solve the riddle “Why Did Igor Spend 10 Years Studying Geology?”
Also, please take a look at your ISN. Make sure all of your coloring with a purpose is caught up and that you have created your cover!
Half way through the week!
Today we worked more in our number systems unit on the topic of LCM. We reviewed Cornell Notes from yesterday, check the LCM activity from yesterday, and we also played another LCM game!
In our ISN today we worked on math talk bubbles (p.3, 4, 5, 6). We added some additional information to this page, please color with a purpose tonight.
