Dear 5th grade families,
Spring is here! It is very common at this time of year for 5th graders to start getting the “summer itch.” However, there is still a lot of curriculum left to learn. As the days start getting longer, children often want to stay up later. Please encourage your child to continue going to bed at a reasonable time each night. A good night’s sleep every night and a healthy breakfast every morning make such a difference in your child’s focus and stamina in the classroom! Thank you for your support.
Our classroom is still in severe need of tissues, hand sanitizer, and white copy paper. Any donations of these items would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
As always, if you ever have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can write a note in your child’s planner, leave me a message by phone, or email me. As a team, we can help make this a successful school year for your child!
