HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🙂
I hope all of you had a fun, relaxing break with your families. Thank you all for the generous gifts you sent in before the winter break. You are so thoughtful! I am blessed to be your child’s teacher. I am looking forward to the rest of the school year!
Now that January has arrived, it is time for mid-year assessments. Our class will be taking the NWEA for Language, Reading, and Math – one test each Thursday morning (January 9th, 16th, and 23rd). Please be sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast for testing days so he/she can do his/her best! Thank you.
It is officially winter! However, we will still be having outdoor recess if the real feel temperature (actual temperature with wind chill) is above 20 degrees farenheit. Please make sure your child comes to school with a warm coat, hat, and gloves. Thanks!
It is my firm belief that with the teacher’s guidance in school, and with parental support at home, every student can reach his/her full potential. If you ever have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can write a note in your child’s planner, leave me a message by phone, or email me. As a team, we can help make this a successful school year for your child!
