Tonight’s homework involves the students reading a story problem and then circling the information that would help them solve the problem. They also have to find the missing number in an equation. I am teaching them that in an equation, the biggest number is the “whole” and the smaller numbers are the “parts.” All the parts added together to equal the whole.
