Monday’s homework will be a worksheet on fact families. The numbers in a fact family consist of a whole (the greatest number) and two parts (the smaller numbers). These numbers can form two addition and two subtraction sentences. Example: 7+4= 11, 4+7= 11, 11-7=4 and 11-4=7 The numbers in this fact family are 4, 7, and 11. 4 and 7 are the parts and 11 is the whole.
They must also circle the words that need to be capitalized.
