I gave the students some oral directions to add to their afternoon.

They have to finish pg. 4 in their learn book and pg 5. you may have to read the directions for them on that page.

They have to finish the Rhyming words page in their reading folder.

They have math homework, you can have them do it in the evening or during this time slot.

Succeed book pages 4(shows example problems) and 5 and 6 is they do the work.

Hello, there are no specials in place yet, however please check out the specials teachers Schoology as they have a few things for you to watch. Mr. Moyer has some paperwork for you to fill out as well. Ms. S has a video for you to watch and I haven’t heard from the others but you can take a peek and see.

For independent work time, I wrote down they should do the problem set in math and to finish the sprint page. Ignore, we did not get to the problem set today and we did the whole sprint page. INSTEAD have them go to their reading folder and write rhyming words for dip and sun.

I’m sorry about all the technical difficulties and the freezing up and sound issues. I hope this gets easier and better as time goes on.

Hello, On Tuesday we will have our first Zoom meeting. Here are some directions so that you can join us. We will begin at 8:55 am so you will want to begin before then as it will take some time to log on.

1. Go to Schoology
2. Click on “courses”
3. Click on the course labeled “discussions”
4. Click on zoom meetings
5. Now it may ask you for a meeting id number so punch in 862 7114 3757
6. Pass code is abc123
7. A screen should pop up that says “join with computer audio” click on it and you should be connected
8. Under the “join with computer audio” it will ask you to test your microphone and audio, you may want to do that to make sure the volume is good and that you can be heard and you will want to do this before you click on the “join with computer audio”

After you pick up your supplies, students should organize their supplies near the area they will be zooming from or keep them in an easy to carry bag so they can grab it and go to their “desk”. If they have any unfinished schoolwork they can then do that.

Hello, I just posted a poll that I thought I had posted last night. It is related to their topic today of interrupting. I wanted them to take the poll first just to have them get interested in the topic. You don’t have to have them do it now if you don’t want, since it’s after the fact, but if you want them to practice doing a poll, go ahead.

Zoom lessons will start Tuesday the 8th. It will begin at 9:00am. I will give you more detailed information about that day/week by Monday evening.
