We will be making number scrolls for math and are in need of the cardboard roll from paper towels so if you can send them our way instead of recycling them it will be greatly appreciated. Every child needs one. Thanks so much.

Hang out and watch a movie in the Snow school gym tonight at 6:30 pm. Bake sale and Book Fair will be taking place as well. Your child will bring their book “wishlist” home tonight.
A math test study guide has been sent home. Please have your child do it on their own then check it together so you can see where they need extra help. We will review it tomorrow in class and the test will be given on Monday December 9th.
Just a reminder, book orders are due tomorrow. Parent Teacher Conferences begin again Wednesday and Thursday. Also, they have added spelling homework, I’ll go over it with them tomorrow and send it home then as well. We could use some yellow wood pencils and glue sticks if anyone can donate to the class it would be greatly appreciated.

Today they have been asked to collect some leaves and put them in a plastic baggie so that they can make a leaf animal. Also math homework has been sent and tomorrow is there spelling test.
Math tests were sent home today. Please sign and return them tomorrow. Also, book bags will be refreshed next week. Last week they practiced all week on the Halloween Play they were in and this week is being spent assessing.
There is no school tomorrow (11-5-13) and Friday the 8th is a half day. Please dress your child in a warm coat on these colder days because they do go outside for recess. Also be sure write the title of the book your child read on the reading log, as well as your signature. I will be sending math tests home this week, please sign and return them.
