Hello,

I just want to thank  you for the flowers, notes, and supplies you have been sending in this week. I’m grateful I’ve been able to be your child’s teacher this year. They have all grown in many ways since the beginning of the year.

Our room is a few pair of headphones short (the connector tips break off in the computer and the district does not repair or replace the headphones). IF you have any old headphones you have not thrown away yet, feel free to donate them to our room. Also, if you have too many earbuds laying around and would like to donate those or just send them in for your child in a ziplock with his/her name on it, they can use them instead of the headphones we have.

Room 29 is collecting donations for the Raffle Basket which can be won at the annual end of the the year picnic. Our theme is “KIDS ARTS AND CRAFTS”

An order form has been sent home for Earth Day T-shirts to be worn on our City Beautiful Parade Day (May 16th). They are due May 8th.

Some of you have been wondering about NWEA-the testing window is May 13th-June 7th.  We will be taking it toward end of May and into June because of the new math program. We’d like to get more of it in before they test.

Math test tomorrow because no school on Friday.

There are students who are at school prior to 8:25am without supervision.  For the sake of safety, please drop your child off no earlier than 8:25am.  If your child comes for breakfast, please make sure they go straight to the cafeteria no earlier than 8:15am.  Thank you in advance.

Good Afternoon,

I’ve attatched a “cheat sheet” we created today to help us with our math lesson. Please have your child refer to it while doing their math homework.

Tomorrow we will do a math pre- test as a way to review for the test. I’m planning on giving the test on Thursday and may break it into two days if it seems like it would be helpful to them.

Spring conferences will be the week we get back from Spring Break. If you don’t get an invite by the end of this week that means I have not scheduled a conference with you so you don’t have to put it on your schedule.
