I’m looking forward to seeing everyone! Hope you all have enjoyed the break. 

This year we are not having a Holiday Party, instead we are going to watch a movie and eat some cookies. We would like them to wear pajamas that day, green and red or anything related to the holidays, if they have, if not any pair will do.

Concert is tonight. Students are to arrive at 5:45 pm  in our room.  I will walk them to the gym.  The concert begins at 6pm.  There is no dress code, they may wear what they, or you, would like them to wear.

Popcorn day is tomorrow.

Field trip form due Friday.  Please write a note on their reading log if you need another one.

Math study guide has gone home today. Please make sure they do it and bring it back tomorrow.

A math study guide will be sent home on Wednesday. Please go over it with them.  I think this may be the easiest test they will have this year.

Just a reminder, their concert is on Wednesday December 16th at 6:00pm.  Please drop them off in our classroom at 5:45pm. Mr. Stinson said they can wear what they like.

A field trip form has been sent home.  The trip is not until May, however we have to pay them by the beginning of January.  Sorry to have to ask so far in advance.

Tomorrow is our Holiday Shopping Day so be sure to send in their money if you want them to buy anything. Also a reminder, Friday is wear green and red.

We will be having a Spirit Day on Friday of each week before break:
Friday, December 4– Snow School shirts or sweatshirts, blue shirts
Friday, December 11– Wear RED and/or GREEN day
Friday, December 18– UGLY Sweater Day

A note regarding the Holiday Shop has been sent home today along with an envelope. We will be shopping Next Tuesday December 8th.

Students will be taking their unit 3 math test on Tuesday November 24, 2015.  A study guide has been sent home.  Please have them do it and then go over it with them. Return  to school on Monday as we do review it together.   There will be no spelling test next week. Also, if you are able, please send in the item listed on your sheet for our Thanksgiving feast.  If there are any book orders please send those in by Tuesday.

A note was sent home today in regards to a first grade Thanksgiving Feast. Along with an explanation there was a request for food donations.  If you are unable to donate the item you were assigned to, please let me know so I can make sure it gets brought in.  Thanks!

Also, book order forms were sent home.  They are due on Tuesday November 24th.
