Ok, this is my first attempt. Fingers are crossed.

Reading: Click on the link above. It should open to my Bitmoji classroom. Once the picture comes up you will see a book on the large screen titled “There Might be Lobsters”. Students need to watch and listen to the story. Before the story begins, tell them “it is a fiction story, which means it’s made up by the author”. Then tell them there are two main characters in the story, Eleanor and Sukie. Now click on the link (on the picture of the book) and have them watch and listen. Feel free to pause the video at certain points and ask them a question so that they can practice the strategy check for understanding. Once they are done, have them orally answer the question the reader poses at the end of the story. She asks, “what happened in the story, what was the problem in the story. Have your child use the sentence stem….The problem in the story was that Sukie was_________________. What made Sukie finally go in the water? Sukie finally went in the water because she ___________________. Give your child a body break if they need one, then go to schoology and click Course and then click on the First Grade ELA course. Do the assignment.

Math: click on the link above and this time click on the computer screen. Students will follow along with the video and then you will go back to schoology and click on the math course. Then, have them see if they can find the math course folder on their own and let them click on it.

Please let me know if the link above gives you any trouble.

Writing: Go to the ELA course in Schoology and click on the writing folder for details.
