Watch and stay informed as a Michigander. What is happening with the Flint water crisis? Conditions of Detroit Public Schools? Watch your governor’s response to these issues. Consider the rhetorical appeals as you analyze his speech.

3. Role play discussion
-Class is divided into 5 groups
-One group will play the role of Anna, one is Brian, one is Sara, one is the lawyer, and one is the provocateur
-There are 5 seats available in the center of the room. Each group sends a representative to participate in the discussion for 2 minutes. Then, group members rotate.
