CO: Students will demonstrate creation of an outline by developing the topic with well-chosen support.
LO: Students will write an essay outline using a guided outline and quotes/summaries/paraphrases.
1. SSR + record number of pages read.
2. Book talks?? I’ll go!
3. Complete outlines
-have clear development of support
-what order of information will be best for your paper
-where will you incorporate quotes, summaries, and paraphrases
-reasoning is necessary to justify your thinking
4. Confer with Ms.Martin and classmate(s)
-we’ll use a chart on the board
REMINDERS:
-SSR log due by 11:59 PM on Saturday
-Weeks 22-23 due Friday the 26th
-We will have visitors observing 1st hour on Monday

CO: Students will demonstrate creation of clear and coherent writing in which the organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
LO: Students will write a resume using a model and guidelines.
1. SSR + record number of pages read.
2. Book talks?? I’ll go!
3. Past Perfect POP QUIZ 🙂
4. Present perfect packet practice
5. Resume typing
-classmate proofread (use checklist in packet)
-check in with Ms.Martin, get approval to type
6. Preview interview questions
-prepare answers for Monday
