LO: Students will read and write an essay using guidelines.

1. SSR + record number of pages
2. Announcements/agenda
**Turn in double-entry journal today!
3. Reading and annotating model essay, “Bullying Is Bigger Than You Think.”
-Annotate and note structure
-Create the prompt that this student was responding to
-Create the guidelines based on the model essay
4. Writing your own essay
-Brainstorm ideas
-Use articles (3 available in class)
-Begin essay planning
-Final draft is due Tuesday at the beginning of class

-Week 17 vocabulary due tomorrow. This is the last vocabulary homework!
