HLA 3 (Periods 1 and 5):
CO: Students will demonstrate evaluation and analysis of text by examining and supporting responses.
LO: Students will listen and write using a prompt and a double-entry journal.

-Create a question you think is appropriate for SSR logs
-Write the question at the top of your paper
-Respond in paragraph format in your notebook
-Rip out SSR logs, put your name on them, and turn in blue box

LO: Students will read and speak using the discussion guidelines.

-Create a question you think is appropriate for SSR logs
-Write the question at the top of your paper
-Respond in paragraph format in your notebook
-Rip out SSR logs, put your name on them, and turn in blue box
-Take the notebook with you for your next semester
3. Role play discussion
-Class is divided into 5 groups
-One group will play the role of Anna, one is Brian, one is Sara, one is the lawyer, and one is the provocateur
-There are 5 seats available in the center of the room. Each group sends a representative to participate in the discussion for 2 minutes. Then, group members rotate.
