HLA 3 (Periods 1 and 5):
CO: Students will demonstrate analysis of sentence clauses and informational text by examining guided notes and discussion.
LO: Students will read and write information in their own words as they rotate from station to station.

1. SSR + record number of pages on graph paper
2. Announcements/Agenda
3. Station Rotation: Students have 9-10 minutes at each station.
1. Essential v. nonessential clauses
2. Appositive clauses
3. AOW revisited: What were the connections to LOTF?
4. Participles
5. Begin chapters 9-10 homework due tomorrow

REMINDERS:
1. Chapters 9-10 need to be read and questions answered by class tomorrow.
2. Vocabulary week 16 is due Friday.
3. Vocabulary quiz weeks 15-16 is Friday.

CO: Students will demonstrate analysis of prompts, narrative text, and prepositions by examining notes in a station rotation.
LO: Students will read and write using guidelines.

1. SSR + record number of pages on graph paper
2. Announcements/agenda
3. Chapters 7-8 handout.
-Reading chapter 7 together and annotating.
-Complete question handout for chapter 7.
-Homework: finish reading and annotating chapter 8 for tomorrow.

REMINDERS:
1. Week 16 vocabulary due on Friday
2. Weeks 15-16 vocabulary quiz on Friday
