2. Record how many pages you read on your graph paper (1 min)
3. Get out your chapter 4 & 5 homework:
a. Turn & talk to your neighbor about the MOST significant things you noticed. (3 min)
b. Share with the class. (3 min)
c. Pass your homework down the row. It will be collected. (2 min)
4. Get out your preposition homework sheet:
a. Turn & talk to the person behind you/in front of you about the difficulties with this homework. (2 min)
b. Share with the class. (3 min)
c. Receive NEW preposition handout. This goes IN YOUR TOOLKIT. (2 min)
d. Review preposition list and prepositional phrases.
e. Write your own sentences on the back of the paper. (4 min)
f. Share out. (4 min)
5. Setting goals for Card Marking (CM) 3:
a. Portfolios should have all writings, summative work, etc.
b. Transfer necessary papers from binders into portfolios. (4 min)
c. Write your goal for CM 3 and HOW you plan to reach those goals. (5 min)
