Any online work that we do in our classroom is linked to my blog under the heading “Class Links.” There are also pages listed at the top of my blog for things like Reading Logs or Spelling Words.

Clever

Clever is a hub that is located in our Dearborn Schools main website.

This allows children to access many applications commonly used by students throughout the district. You can always go to Clever to find most of the apps we use. However, you can also use my blog.

Google Classroom

Google Classroom is a place where your child is linked to special classroom assignments.

All Google apps like Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Slides, etc. can be accessed through your child’s school account. Make sure you are signed out of YOUR account before you try to access a google classroom. You will not be able to enter the classroom from your account. Your child signs in to Google with his/her school id and password independently at school and can do this at home, too. Sign in information is in his/her planner.

ReadWorks

ReadWorks is a site which has reading passages and question sets that match the passages.

Each student has a username and password. You can also use the classroom code: FTY2B4 to enter the site with Google or Clever.

Zearn

This site is closely matched with our math curriculum. I am keeping this updated to reflect the current unit in math. To access Zearn, go through my blog.

Each students has a username and password that has been glued into his/her planner to ensure ease of access. Our class code is CH6J7U. Again, I strongly encourage you to have your child log in to his/her own google account before accessing. This allows ease of re-entry into the site.
