4th Grade Meet and Greet
Good Afternoon Parents!
It was so nice to meet and get to talk with most of you at the Open House last week, thank you for taking the time to come!
For those parents who did not have the chance to come, or for those who would like another chance to meet the 4th grade teachers and ask any questions that you may have, we are holding a Meet and Greet this Wednesday. We will discuss curriculum, procedures, and rotations among the 4th grade. This will be held before school at 8am, in Room 1. We hope you can make it 🙂

Happy Monday 4th graders and Parents!
We had a great first week of school and it made me so very excited for the year ahead!
Today, we began diving into our first Units for all subject areas. The students got to rotate to Mrs. Greco and Ms. Cronin’s class today to do some Science and Social Studies 🙂
Each Monday I will send home Spelling Words and a class newsletter. I will also post Spelling words here (because I know papers can get lost or may not even make it home haha). If you have any questions about the week ahead, or anything at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

First Day of School!
Welcome Back 4th grade Students and Parents!!!
Today was an amazing day! I truly enjoyed meeting and getting to know all of my new students. I will post to this blog weekly to share information with you all regarding important reminders, information for the coming week, spelling words, and a weekly newsletter. Here are some items to know about our class:
- We will have time for a daily snack, it may vary in the morning or afternoon, depending on the daily schedule. Your child does not have to bring one, but they can feel free to.
- Lunch is from 12:00-12:30 everyday 🙂
- Our specials consist of Technology, Art, Music, and P.E. I will post the schedule below as well as on the Class Info tab located on the right of the webpage.
- Supplies are recommended, especially some kind of crayon box/zipper pencil bag. Students will be switching classes for Math, Science, and Social Studies daily so this will make it easier to carry their supplies with them. I will post the recommended list below.
- If your child has a birthday that you would like to celebrate in school or bring a treat, just email or call me and give me a heads up 🙂
- There will be an open house next week on Thursday, September 14th, at 6pm. Please feel free to come see your child’s classroom, meet me, and ask any questions you may have!
Communication is KEY to having a successful year. So please don’t hesitate to call, email, or write notes in your child’s planner. I will be sure to get back to you the same day. I will send home and post a Weekly Newsletter every Monday. This will have upcoming events, important dates and tests, and let you know what your child is learning in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
I look forward to an exciting you with you all!

Welcome 4th Grade!
Welcome 4th grade Parents and Students!
We are hoping you’ve had a wonderful summer. We are looking forward to a great, new year! We want to share with you some important information that will help make 4th grade successful for your child.
This new school year, the three 4th grade classes will be switching for Math, Science, and Social Studies. As a result of this, we feel it would be beneficial that each student had a pencil case/supply box, or something that will make it easy for them to carry supplies from room to room. The supply list came that came home at the end of last year in the Report Card envelope is the suggested list of supplies.
We look forward to meeting you and your child on Tuesday, September 5th for our first half day of school together! If you have any questions before the school year begins, please feel free to email any of us.
See you soon!

End of the Year!
Hi Parents and Students,
I honestly can’t believe the last day of school is tomorrow! This school year has flown by and we’ve shared a lot of memories together. I want to wish everyone a happy, healthy, and safe summer. I will truly miss this class and I’m confident they will do amazing things in 5th grade and in life.
Thank you to all my parents for the support, help, and donations this year. It is so greatly appreciated by the students and I.
THANK YOU for making my first year at Haigh one I will never forget. I love it here and it’s thanks to my wonderful students and parents!!! 🙂
Picnic and Talent Show
Hi Parents!
I wanted to share some pictures from this week’s fun. We had an awesome time at our Picnic Monday, special thanks to the parents who came, had fun, provided games and /or snacks 🙂 Also, today the 4th grade had a talent show in the gym. We had some students sing songs, tell riddles/jokes, and perform an anti-bullying rap followed by dancing. They all did so great, I’m very proud of them,
Monday is the Picnic!
Happy Friday!
Monday is our end of year picnic at Levagood! Just some reminders for the day…
It’s supposed to be 90 degrees, so please make sure your child is dressed for the weather and has plenty of water to last them the day.
Please make sure your child has a bagged lunch.
They can feel free to bring outdoor games, sports, bubbles, chalk, etc. Pretty much anything besides a baseball bat and hard ball 😉
If you are providing a snack for the class, there are 21 students. Any donations are greatly appreciated. I will have popsicles for the children to enjoy when we get back to school.
Thanks in advance for a great school year!
