PBIS Winter Carnival Help

Haigh Families,

On Monday, January 29th, we will be hosting our third annual HAIGH CARNIVAL for our January PBIS celebration. Students who have maintained positive behavior will have the opportunity to attend the carnival and play some awesome games and even win some prizes!

However, the event can only be a success with your help. We are in need of volunteers to help run stations at the carnival. If you are able to volunteer your time, it would also be appreciated. The time slots are as follows:

A.M. session – 8:35-11:15                          P.M. session – 12:50-3:25

We need 7 A.M. volunteers and 7 P.M. volunteers. If you are able to volunteer, please e-mail

Ms. Otto at ottoc@dearbornschools.org to sign-up 🙂

Thank you for all of your help and continued support!

The PBIS team

Holiday Geetings

Good Evening Parents!

I wanted to take the time to give a sincere THANK YOU to all of your for your kindness and generosity in thinking of me and the students of our class this Holiday season.  I am forever grateful for the love I’ve been shown and the students are grateful for the donations provided over the last couple days that made school awesome for them!  They had a fun Grinch Day and Secret Santa exchange, followed by a yummy breakfast and cookies (courtesy of our room moms).  I wanted to share a few pictures with you.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all!  See you in 2018.

Music Concert Tonight!

Just a friendly reminder that every child needs to be at school by 6:15 pm, they can come to Mrs. Greco or Ms. Cronin’s classroom when they arrive.  Again, I’m unable to be there tonight because I have my son’s first concert at the exact same time.

I can’t wait to see them rehearse for the school, I know they are going to do an amazing job!!

Secret Santa Exchange

Greetings!

The students have decided they want to do a Secret Santa gift exchange 🙂   Sooo, we pulled names today and they have to come up with a small gift under $5 (candy, stocking stuffer, book, etc) something they think the student they chose would be interested in.  I told them that they need their parents permission to participate in this, so if you do not want your child to be a part of this gift exchange please notify me ASAP.

I told them they have to keep this a secret!  No telling anyone who they have…as we all want to be surprised!  They can bring in their gifts on Thursday and I will give them a chance to exchange during our Grinch day festivities.

Thank you!

Grinch Day!

Happy Friday!

We have a fun-filled, yet busy week ahead of us next week.  Just a couple reminders:

The concert is on Tuesday, December 19th at 6:30 pm, please make sure your child is here at least 15 min before hand.

Late Start is on Wednesday, the 20th.  School begins at 9:35 am.

On Thursday the 21st, we will have Grinch Day!  Your child can dress up if they would like, and we will enjoy many “Grinchy” activities centered around Reading and Math, and also just some fun games 🙂  If you would like to donate a “Grinchy” treat for the class to enjoy, that would be greatly appreciated!

On Friday, our class will be having a waffle breakfast, decorate cookies, and play a game or two.  In the afternoon is the school-wide PBIS celebration, in which they will get to choose a movie to watch and enjoy popcorn.

Just wanted to give you a run down of what next week will look like, please don’t hesitate to ask questions!  Happy Holidays!
