Keep the Quote Week 5 Winner!

And the winner is…………………

Ahmad!!!

Many students recognized Ahmad’s efforts to try to go above and beyond!  For example, just this week he performed an act of kindness to one of our classmates.  A student lost his book fair money and was upset, Ahmad bought that student the book he wanted with the money he brought!  It really brightened that student’s day and made our whole class proud 🙂  Keep on being extraordinary, Ahmad!!!

Keep the Quote Week 5

Students will be trying their hardest to earn this week’s quote by going above and beyond 🙂  We had a class conversation about what makes someone extraordinary and how we can be that “extra” ordinary at home and school.

Keep the Quote Winner Week 4

And the winner of this week’s quote is………..

Ali!!!!!

Many students nominated Ali and had very nice things to say about him.  Most mentioned that he comes to school every day, ready to work, help others, and most importantly, is kind to everyone- everyday!  I too agree that Ali displays these qualities on a daily basis and that he is well-deserving of this quote!  Great job Ali!

Keep the Quote Week 4

This is the quote for this week.

We discussed in class how our little daily acts of kindness and show of respect means more than the bigger acts of kindness we might show every once in a while.

The kids agreed that coming to school each day, following rules, getting along with classmates, listening to parents at home, getting along with family members and doing this each and everyday is what we should be striving for.  Doing our best everyday, not just sometimes.

Keep the Quote Winner #3

The students nominated and voted on………..

Adam!!!!!!!

We had both boys and girls nominate Adam today and give specific reasons as to why he deserved to take home this quote!  They mentioned that fact that he’s always following rules and trying to get others to follow suit.  They gave an example just from today, when I was in the hallway and most students were getting out of their seats and being loud, Adam was trying to get everyone to stop.  (Thanks Adam!)  I agree with the students and I appreciate you doing right on the daily (even when no one is looking) and setting a great example to your classmates.  Good job!

Many students said the same thing as to why he deserved this week’s quote.  They mentioned his determination and hard work ethic, the fact that he sets a goal and sticks to the goal until it’s reached.  All the students in class agreed that Khaled puts in the work daily, not only academically, but socially as well.  All his hard work definitely pays off!  Keep on working hard, Khaled! Congrats 🙂
