Most  students finished today!  If they aren’t finished, they will have tomorrow to complete.  Next week, on Tuesday, they will begin the Math portion of the M-Step.

I can tell the students came to school today ready to rock the M-Step!  They were focused and determined. They all got a little treat (Krispy Kreme)  from me to enjoy before the test or during the break 🙂

Day 2 of the Reading will resume tomorrow morning.

Reminder that there are no Spelling Words for this and next week due to M-Step Testing!

M-Step testing begins tomorrow!!!

Reading will be this week, and Math begins next Tuesday.  All testing sessions will be in the morning so please make sure your child is to school on time, has had breakfast, and a good night’s sleep.  Thank you for your support.  I know our students will do their best and make Haigh proud!!!

Congrats to all the 4th grade students and families on a job well done!  They all worked so hard and their products were amazing!!!  Market Day is a day the 4th graders and I look forward to all year long and  I can’t believe it’s come and gone. Many students nominated Rami in recognition of the hard work they see him put in on the daily.  Some students mentioned how focused he is and doesn’t let anything distract him from getting work done in class. I agree with all of them 🙂  Great job Rami!!!

Here are the Spelling Words for Week 27.  M-Step Testing for Reading begins next week, on Tuesday, April 30th.  Therefore, we will not have Spelling Words the next 2 weeks beginning next week.  Our field Trip to Stout is this Wednesday!  I still have quite a few students who have not returned permission slips, please do so by tomorrow!

Spelling Week 27

Parents,

Today is our PBIS picnic for the planet, from 11am-1pm.  Your child can bring a blanket to sit on, any outdoor games to play, and  a brown bagged lunch if they choose.  There will be bean burritos or cheese and crackers available from the cafeteria if they prefer that.

And the winner is……

Zahraa!!!  Many students nominated Zahraa today for all the ways she spreads kindness 🙂  Not only by encouraging words, but small acts as well that make her classmates feel good and motivated.  Good job Zahraa!  Honorable mention: Yara (she had quite a few nominations as well today, keep on being awesome Yara!)
