Halloween Day

Halloween is a week away!

We have a fun-filled day planned for Tuesday, October 31st.  The costume parade will take place at 2:30 in the afternoon.  We will walk around the school 2 times.  We look forward to seeing you all in the crowd!

Since we also have P.E. that afternoon at 1pm, we will do some fun activities in the morning. The students will have a chance to decorate pumpkins, decorate Halloween cookies, play Halloween Bingo, and Witch Hat Toss.  They will rotate to each center from about 10-11:30.  Please let me know if you would like to come and volunteer to assist at a center.  They will also be doing a Halloween Writing Activity that morning and participating in an estimation game, with a chance to win 1 of 4 prizes.

We will save time in the day for passing of candy and time to enjoy treats, most likely in the afternoon. Thank you to those who have already donated to the classroom fund.  If you would like to donate a treat (chips, popcorn, baked goods, juice, etc.) or bring a bag of candy for your child to pass, that would be awesome and so greatly appreciated!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.  Thank you to my Room parents and all who contribute to making Halloween a fun day for the kids 🙂
