What was happening in Room 115?
- The letter of this week was the letter “O”.
- We practiced different worksheets for the letter “O”.
- We did letter “O” craft. “O” is for “Oatmeal”.
- For reading comprehension and to answer “What book did we read?” and “What was our core word?”, we read “Eat The Rainbow” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- Our core word was “Want”.
- ELA objectives for the month of February that we focused on were “I can recognize familiar texts(ex. story texts, poems)”, “I can identify the beginning sound of a familiar word”, and “I can identify a front cover of a book”.
- This week’s story was “There was a cold Lady who swallowed some Snow” written by “Lucille Colandro” and illustrated by “Jared Lee”.
- For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs.
- Math objective for the month of January was “I can identify shapes“.
- We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs. Nada.
- A huge and big thanks to Ava Eid for bringing us some thoughtful goodies for the Valentine Day. We appreciate you Mrs. Eid and Ava 🙂
