The following Tuesday, October 10 will be the first Early Release Tuesday. Students will be dismissed 90 minutes early on October 10.

What was happening in our classroom?
This week was the last week of the month of September! We continued our reading comprehension with the learning about the core word, “I”. We read “I have Feelings” book from the “Core First Learning” series. We read “Little Sock Makes A Friend” book. It is written by “Kia Heise & Christopher D. Park”. For this week, we learned about the letter “C”. We made letter “C” crafts. The word “Car” starts with the letter “C”. We also worked on letter “C” worksheets. For math comprehension, we continued on counting numbers 1-10. We counted blocks, cubes, and our fingers, and we sang counting numbers song. For science comprehension, we learned about calendar, seasons, & the Weather. In this week we met our physical therapist, Mrs. LaSandra, we also had so much fun in the Gym, Art, & Music.
The main exciting event that we had on Friday was visiting “Three Cedars Farm”. Please, check out my next blog for more details and pictures of the visit.

What was happening in our classroom?
This week was another very busy one! We continued our reading comprehension with the learning about the core word, “I”. We read “We Are” book from the “Core First Learning” series. We read ” David Goes to School” book. The author and the illustrator of this book is ” David Shannon”. For this week, we learned about the letter “B”. We made letter “B” crafts. The word “Balloons” starts with the letter “B”. We also worked on letter “B” worksheets. For extra ELA comprehension, we matched the pictures of school supply items to what we would use it for. We continued our learning about school/classroom rules. We did a worksheet that teaches us some of those rules. For math comprehension, we continued on counting numbers 1-10. We counted blocks, cubes, and our fingers, and we sang counting numbers song. For science comprehension, we learned about calendar, seasons, & the Weather. In this week we met our physical therapist, Mrs. LaSandra, and we welcomed and had the chance to meet our new Speech Therapist, Ms. Kaitlin Vannoord, we also had so much fun in the Gym, Art, & Music.

For math comprehension, we continued on counting numbers 1-5. And for science comprehension, we learned about calendar, seasons, & the Weather. In this week we met our wonderful physical therapist, Mrs. LaSandra, and we had so much fun in the Gym, Art, & Music.
