The Exploration of the week of 05/05/2025

  1. We started this week with a beautiful visit of our students’ moms. We had an amazing indoor picnic. Thank you so much moms for making our day even better:)
  2. We also celebrated Bisan’s tenth birthday on Monday. Happy Birthday Bisan.
  3. The letter of this week was the letter “X”.
  4. We did letter “X” craft. 
  5. For reading comprehension and to answer “What book did we read?” and “What was our core word?”, we read “The Apple” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
  6. Our core word for this week was “It”.
  7. ELA objectives for the month of May that we are focusing on are “I can identify the same pictures/objects of two books.”, and “I can attend to others talking or writing about things in my life.”
  8. This week’s story was “Pete The Cat and The Cool Caterpillar” by “James Dean”.
  9. For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs. 
  10. Math objectives for the month of May are “I can tell time to the hour on A digital clock.”, and “I can learn about shapes.”
  11. We went to Music, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to Art and met Mrs. Nada.
  12. We met our occupational therapist (Mrs. Andrea), physical therapist(Mrs. Sandy).
  13. On Thursday, we had the chance to enjoy the Exotic Zoo show at our school.
  14. We ended this week with “Mother’s Day Tea & Classroom Activities”. Thank you mom for coming to our classroom today 🙂
