What was happening in our classroom?
- This week, we reviewed the letters “A – E”.
- On Tuesday, we had an early release day.
- On Wednesday, we participated in the STEAM assembly.
- Monday & Thursday, we had Music.
- Tuesday, we had ART.
- Wednesday & Friday we had GYM.
- During the week, we worked with our Speech, physical, & Occupational specialists.
- Our core word for the month of May is “It”.
- We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
- We read “What is it?” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- This week’s story was “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. The book’s author and illustrator is “Eric Carle”.
- Our ELA focus for the month of May focus will be on “Compare & Contrast”.
- Math concepts for the month of May will be on “Measurement & Data, Geometry”, and the key concepts are “Shapes & Angles”.
- ULS topic for the month of May will be “Life Science: Plants Can Grow”.
