The Exploration of the week of 5/20/2024

  1. This week, we reviewed the letters “A – E”.
  2. On Tuesday, we had an early release day.
  3. On Wednesday, we participated in the STEAM assembly.
  4. Monday & Thursday, we had Music.
  5. Tuesday, we had ART.
  6. Wednesday & Friday we had GYM.
  7. During the week, we worked with our Speech, physical, & Occupational specialists.
  8. Our core word for the month of May is “It”.
  9. We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
  10. We read “What is it?” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
  11. This week’s story was “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. The book’s author and illustrator is “Eric Carle”.
  12. Our ELA focus for the month of May focus will be on “Compare & Contrast”.
  13. Math concepts for the month of May will be on “Measurement & Data, Geometry”, and the key concepts are “Shapes & Angles”.
  14. ULS topic for the month of May will be “Life Science: Plants Can Grow”.
