Greetings, Friends & Families!
What was happening in our classroom?
- We started this week with making gifts for our moms, and we celebrated “Mother’s Day” on Monday.
- The letter of this week was the letter “Z”.
- We did the letter “Z” craft. “Z” is for “Zebra”.
- We did letter “Z” worksheets.
- Our core word for the month of May will be “It”.
- We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
- We read “Easy and Hard” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- This week’s story was “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. The book’s author and illustrator is “Eric Carle”.
- Our ELA focus for the month of May focus will be on “Compare & Contrast”.
- Math concepts for the month of May will be on “Measurement & Data, Geometry”, and the key concepts are “Shapes & Angles”.
- ULS topic for the month of May will be “Life Science: Plants Can Grow”.
- On Tuesday, we went to Art class. On Monday & Thursday, we went to Music, and on Wednesday and Friday, we went to the Gym.
