What was happening in our classroom!
- The letter of this week was the letter “V”.
- We did letter “V” craft, “V” is for “Vase”.
- Our core word for the month of April is “Can“.
- We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
- We read “The Sleepover” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- Our ELA focus for the month of April is “Illustrations & Word Recognition”.
- Our math focus for the month of April is “Measurement & Data”, and the key concepts are “Time, Money, & Graphs”.
- ULS topic for the month of April is “Life Science: Plants Can Grow”.
- This week’s story was “Don’t Push The Button! An Easter Surprise!”. This book was written & illustrated by Bill Cotter.
- On Monday, we met our physical therapy specialist, Ms. LaSandra, and on Friday, we met our speech therapist, Ms. Katie Lorenz.
- On Monday & Thursday, we went to Music class. On Tuesday, we went to Art class, and on Wednesday and Friday, we went to the Gym.
- On Friday, Howe preschoolers visited our classroom and gave us “Eid AlFitr” treats. Big thank you to them and to their classroom’s staff.
- A friendly reminder, dear parents, it is very essential to help our children grow a love for reading. Reading every night with your child helps strengthen the relationship between both of you, as well as the love of reading. Please, continue reading to and with your child.
