What was happening in our classroom?

This week was another very busy one! We continued our reading comprehension with the learning about the core word, “I”. We read “We Are” book from the “Core First Learning” series. We read ” David Goes to School” book. The author and the illustrator of this book is ” David Shannon”. For this week, we learned about the letter “B”. We made letter “B” crafts. The word “Balloons” starts with the letter “B”. We also worked on letter “B” worksheets. For extra ELA comprehension, we matched the pictures of school supply items to what we would use it for. We continued our learning about school/classroom rules. We did a worksheet that teaches us some of those rules. For math comprehension, we continued on counting numbers 1-10. We counted blocks, cubes, and our fingers, and we sang counting numbers song. For science comprehension, we learned about calendar, seasons, & the Weather. Dear parents, it is very essential to help our children grow a love for reading. Reading every night with your child helps strengthen the relationship between both of you, as well as the love of reading. Please, continue reading to and with your child, and for this week, please use the link below to listen and enjoy this week’s story with your child 🙂
