Greetings: Friends & Families!
Poem of the week
At the top of My Voice
When I stamp
The ground thunders,
When I shout
The world rings,
When I sing
The air wonders
How I do such things.

What Was Happening?
We focused on letter “D” this week. We learned how to trace, color, sound, and discover different items that start with this week’s letter, the letter “D”. We made the letter “D” craft, and we placed our sample on the wall outside our classroom. We are still watching our tree leaves how they change color/status. The leaves are already turned dry and their color is turning to dark green. We had fun time counting our fingers (1-10). Our palms felt funny when we counted 🙂 This week’s story for reading comprehension was “Pete The Cat the Wheels on the Bus” by James Dean. We answered “What book did we read?” and ” Who was the story abut?” questions. We also extended our comprehension on core words in which we continued our learning of the core word “I”, and for that purpose, we used “I have feelings” book. We made a poster of this book and placed it on the wall outside our classroom. We had a great time in Gym, Art, and Music.
Congratulations for our friend, Hanin A. Hanin was selected as the student of the month of September, and she was awarded a certificate for displaying the character trait: Respect. Good job Hanin 🙂
