Exploration the week of 09/05 – 09/09

Greetings, Friends & Families!

Poem of the week

At the top of My Voice

When I stamp

The ground thunders,

When I shout

The world rings,

When I sing

The air wonders

How I do such things.

What Was Happening?

  1. Letter “A” was our focus during this week.
  2. “A” is for “Apple” samples.
  3. For Reading Comprehension & answering the “What book did we read?” and ” Who was the character?” questions, we read “The Gingerbread Kid Goes to School” book. It’s written by Joan Holub.
  4. As part of our learning of the core words, we started this week with our first core word “I”. For that purpose, we used the book “I said Hi”.
  5. This month’s math objective is to learn how to count from 1-10. We started to learn how to count items such as trolls, suns, blocks, legos, ducks, and our fingers, as well. It was fun to count our fingers :).
  6. For science, we are learning about the calendar(days, months, seasons, & the weather)
  7. We had a beautiful time at the Gym, Music, and Art.
