What was happening in room 115?
- The letter of this week was the letter “T”.
- We did letter “T” craft. “T” is for “Tuna”.
- For reading comprehension and to answer “What book did we read?” and “What was our core word?”, we read “The Sleepover” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- Our core word for the month of April is “Can”.
- ELA objectives for the month of April that we are focusing on are “I can identify pictures or objects that go with a familiar story.”, and “I can look at words in my world.”
- This week’s story was “A Little Book About Spring” by “Leo Lionni“.
- For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs.
- Math objectives for the month of April are “I can identify Opposites”, and “I can identify coins and their value“.
- ULS focus for this month is “Time for Peace”.
- We went to Music, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to Art and met Mrs. Nada.
- We met our physical therapy specialist, Ms. Sandy, our occupational therapy specialist, Ms. Andrea, and our speech therapy specialist, Ms. Katelyn.
