What was happening in Room 115?
- The letter of this week was the letter “K”.
- We practiced different worksheets for the letter “K”.
- For reading comprehension and to answer “What book did we read?” and “What was our core word?”, we did a book walk through “Not From Here” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- Our core word were “No/Not”.
- ELA objective for the month of December that we will be focusing on is “I can identify unknown words in a story”.
- ULS topic for this month will be “The Gift of Giving”.
- For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs.
- Math objectives for the month of December that we will be focusing on is “I can identify addition as “putting together” in everyday activities” and “I can identify subtraction as “taking from” in everyday activities“.
- We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs. Nada.
- We met our occupational therapist (Mrs. Andrea), physical therapist(Mrs. Sandy) and our speech therapist (Ms. katelyn Pinkowski).
- We would like to send a huge thank you to “Creative Projects” group for visiting our school and doing beautiful crafts with us.
