The Exploration of the week of 11/03/2024

  1. The letter of this week was the letter “H”.
  2. We did the letter “H” craft. “H” is for “Heart”.
  3. We practiced different worksheets for the letter “H”.
  4. For reading comprehension and to answer “What book did we read?” and “What was our core word?”, we read “Stop Doing That!” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
  5. Our core word was “Stop”.
  6. This week’s story was “Little Acorn” by the author “Melanie Joyce”, and the illustrator “Gina Maldonado”.
  7. ELA objective for the month of November that we will be focusing on is “I can retell major events from a familiar story”.
  8. For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs. 
  9. Math objectives for the month of November that we were focusing on is “I can identify groups of more, less, or equal to”.
  10. We had fire drill on Thursday.
  11. We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs. Nada.
  12. We met our occupational therapist (Mrs. Andrea), and our speech therapist (Ms. katelyn Pinkowski).
