Greetings, Friends & Families!
What was happening in our classroom?
- The letter of the week was the letter “G”.
- We made the letter “G” craft. “G” is for “Grapes”.
- We practiced on the letter “G” worksheets and some of the season of “Fall” worksheets too.
- We decided to revisit “Stop! Said the Cop!” book from the “Core First Learning” series so we can answer our two questions “What book did we read?” and “what was our core word?” as part of our reading comprehension.
- Our core word was “Stop”.
- We read “Pete the Cat Happy Halloween” by “Kimberly & James Dean” again this week.
- ELA objectives for the month of October that we were focusing on was “I can identify characters and setting in a familiar story”.
- For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs.

A Friendly Reminder, dear parents, it is very essential to help our children grow a love for reading.
