Greetings, Friends & Families!
What was happening in our classroom?
- The letter of the week was the letter “F”.
- We made the letter “F” craft. “F” is for “Fish”.
- We worked on the letter “F” worksheets and some of the season of “Fall” worksheets too.
- For reading comprehension, we answered our two questions “What book did we read?” and “what was our core word?”.
- To answer the previous two questions, we revisited “Stop! Said the Cop!” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- Our core word was “Stop”.
- ELA objectives for the month of October that we are focusing on is “I can identify characters and setting in a familiar story”.
- This week’s story was “Pete the Cat Happy Halloween” by “Kimberly & James Dean”.
- Lina and Layan were our “Reading Buddies” from Ms. Keebler class who joined us this week and read to us. Thank you friends 🙂
- For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs.
- Math objectives for the month of October that we are focusing on is “I can pair each object with one and only one number”.
- We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs. Nada.
- We met our speech therapist (Ms. Katelyn), our physical therapist (Mrs. Sandy) and the occupational therapist (Mrs. Andrea).
- During this week, we had “Fire House Assembly”.
