The Exploration of the week of 10/07/2024

  1. The letter of the week was the letter “E”.
  2. We did letter “E” craft.
  3. “E” is for “Egg”.
  4. For reading comprehension, we answered the following questions, “What book did we read?” & “What was our core word?“, and for that we read “Go! Go! Go!” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
  5. Our core word was the word “Go”.
  6. This week’s story was “How Do Dinosaurs Go To School” by “Jane Yolen” and illustrator “Mark Teague”.
  7. ELA objectives for the month of October that we will focus on is “I can identify characters and setting in a familiar story”.
  8. For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs.
  9. Math objectives for the month of October that we will focus on is “I can pair each object with one and only one number”.
  10. Our “ULS” focus for the month of October will be on “Go, Team, Go!”.
  11. We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs. Nada.
  12. We met our speech specialist (Ms. Katleyn), physical therapist (Mrs. Sandy), occupational therapist (Mrs. Andrea).
