Greetings, Friends & Families!
What was happening in our classroom?
- The letter of the week was the letter “E”.
- We did letter “E” craft.
- “E” is for “Egg”.
- For reading comprehension, we answered the following questions, “What book did we read?” & “What was our core word?“, and for that we read “Go! Go! Go!” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- Our core word was the word “Go”.
- This week’s story was “How Do Dinosaurs Go To School” by “Jane Yolen” and illustrator “Mark Teague”.
- ELA objectives for the month of October that we will focus on is “I can identify characters and setting in a familiar story”.
- For math comprehension, we counted numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices, as well as we sang counting songs.
- Math objectives for the month of October that we will focus on is “I can pair each object with one and only one number”.
- Our “ULS” focus for the month of October will be on “Go, Team, Go!”.
- We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs. Nada.
- We met our speech specialist (Ms. Katleyn), physical therapist (Mrs. Sandy), occupational therapist (Mrs. Andrea).
A Friendly Reminder, dear parents, it is very essential to help our children grow a love for reading.
