What was happening in our classroom?
- Memorial Day was on Monday.
- This week, we reviewed the letters “F- G – H”.
- On Tuesday, we had our last early release day.
- On Thursday, we enjoyed the special education field day.
- We had Art on Tuesday and Gym on Friday.
- Our core word for the month of May was “It”.
- We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
- We read “What is it?” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- This week’s story was “Going On a Picnic”.
- Our ELA focus for the month of May focus was on “Compare & Contrast”.
- Math concepts for the month of May was on “Measurement & Data, Geometry”, and the key concepts were “Shapes & Angles”.
- ULS topic for the month of May was “Life Science: Plants Can Grow”.
