What was happening in our classroom?
- The letter of this week was still the letter “Y”.
- We did letter “Y” worksheets.
- Our core word for the month of May will be “It”.
- We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
- We read “The Apple” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- This week’s story was “Spring Stinks”. The book’s author and illustrator is “Ryan T. Higgins”.
- Our ELA focus for the month of May focus will be on “Compare & Contrast”.
- Math concepts for the month of May will be on “Measurement & Data, Geometry”, and the key concepts are “Shapes & Angles”.
- ULS topic for the month of May will be “Life Science: Plants Can Grow”.
- On Tuesday, we went to Art class. On Monday & Thursday, we went to Music, and on Wednesday and Friday, we went to the Gym.
- On this week, we celebrated the birthday of our beautiful friend, Bisan. Happy Birthday Bisan 🙂
