What was happening in our classroom?
- The letter of this week was the letter “X”.
- We did letter “X” craft, “X” is for “Xylophone”.
- We did letter “X” worksheets.
- Our core word for the month of April is “Can“.
- We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
- We read “Transportation Riddles” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
- This week’s stories were “Froggy Finds Signs Of Spring” & “Spring Is Here”.
- Our ELA focus for the month of April is “Illustrations & Word Recognition”.
- Our math focus for the month of April is “Measurement & Data”, and the key concepts are “Time, Money, & Graphs”.
- ULS topic for the month of April is “Life Science: Plants Can Grow”.
- On Tuesday, we went to Art class. On Monday & Thursday, we went to music, and on Wednesday and Friday, we went to the Gym.
In “Froggy Finds Signs of Spring” story, our friend Froggy collects eight items that tell him Spring is here! These items are: a flower, a ladybug, a garden, a bee, a kite, a bird, a butterfly, a bunny, and a rain shower. We enjoyed reading this story 🙂
